How to create

Your Daily Routines

Let's be real, we don't always keep our routines because life isn't always perfect.

But keeping consistent with a few simple routines over time can dramatically increase the likelihood for daily success!

RISE EARLY
Waking up early gives you plenty of time to prepare for the day so you don't start off feeling rushed.

MAKE YOUR BED
This is a super easy routine to adopt that gives you a sense of pride first thing. It will motivate you to do another task, and another, and another!

HYDRATE
Hydrate your body by drinking a glass of water (preferably warm water with drops of lemon in it) and taking a shower (preferably cold) to kick start your body's entire energy system inside out.

EAT A GOOD BREAKFASTBoth your body and mind need calories after a night of fasting. Eat complex carbs, healthy fats, fiber and protein to fuel yourself. These foods will give you energy and satisfy your food cravings while setting the stage for more good decisions throughout the day.

MOVE YOUR BODY
Take a brisk walk, do a short workout or try a few stretches to get your metabolism revving. It doesn't have to be super time consuming, just move for a few minutes to reap the benefits.

JOURNAL
Take a few minutes to process your thoughts on a piece of paper or journal.
Journaling is a powerful way to set daily intentions and goals and keep your mind sharp. It will help you be more self-aware and take charge of your day on YOUR terms.

Prep for next-day success

The end of each day is just as important as the start. By implementing an evening
routine, you prepare yourself for the next morning by minimizing the resistance you encounter in getting things done tomorrow.

ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR WINS
Take a few moments at the end of the day to reflect on the day’s highlights, celebrate
your wins and what you did right. Reflecting on your daily wins will put things into perspective and give you encouragement to do it again.

DETERMINE MOST IMPORTANT TASKS
Identify tomorrow’s priorities to free your mind from spinning thoughts while you try to sleep. It's likely that after a good nights sleep, you'll wake up with great ideas that you hadn’t even considered!

CLEAR YOUR HEAD
Engage your mind in something completely non-work related. This allows you to put aside the challenges of the day and ready your mind for sleep.

PRACTICE GOOD SLEEP HYGIENE
Plan ahead so you can get at least 7 hours of rest. Try not to bring work related or stressful tasks to the bedroom. Darken the room. Prepare the room temperature to 60-65°F.
